Her participation in Macedonian President Ivanov’s School for Young Leaders in 2021 emphasizes her leadership capabilities and international focus. During her time at Osgoode, Jana pursued a Curricular Stream in International, Comparative, and Transnational Law. In 2022, she contributed significantly to the Immediate Office of the Prosecutor at the International Residual Mechanism for Criminal Tribunals, assisting national war crimes prosecutors and investigators in the former Yugoslavia.
Jana’s prior roles include experiences as a legal assistant where she explored employment law, international humanitarian law, and refugee law. At Pace Law Firm, she has effectively handled cases involving personal injury, immigration, estates, employment law, and corporate/commercial matters.
Beyond her legal expertise, Jana enjoys travel, cooking, and the visual arts, activities that nurture her broad cultural insights and creative problem-solving skills.
