Sara Ghasemi, a licensed Solicitor and Barrister, is the founder and director of Ghasemi Law Professional Corporation. Sara is an accomplished attorney with extensive experience in both the legal and banking industries. She focuses her practice on residential real estate transactions, including those involving the sale, purchase, refinancing, mortgage, title transfer, bridge financing, assignment, interim closing, and lease agreements.
Sara is a licensed lawyer and a member in good standing of the Law Society of Ontario and the Iran Central Bar Association. She is also a Lawyer Licensing Candidate at The State Bar of California, where she is pursuing her license to practice law in the state of California, United States of America. Sara has had the unique opportunity to study and practice law in two different countries, in both common law and civil law jurisdictions. Dealing with various aspects of real estate law in two distinct legal environments has expanded her horizons in the real estate field and honed her skills in the legal practice.
Prior to founding the law firm, Sara gained invaluable hands-on experience in the finance sector, which transformed her into a lawyer prepared to take on tomorrow’s challenges. Sara’s strong interest in business attracted her to venture in the banking industry. She had the opportunity to work at two major banks in the Greater Toronto Area and the City of Vancouver.
Her several years of financial experience has developed her fundamental business skills and increased her knowledge of financial transactions, banking procedures, mortgages, and real estate. Her diverse experience has given her an unmatched perspective on the legal profession and equipped her to approach her practice with a sound business mindset.
