I graduated from the University of Toronto Faculty of Law in 2018 and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2019. I began my legal career practicing corporate law, working primarily with technology companies and startups. I particularly enjoyed being a trusted member of my clients’ teams as they navigated important decisions and pursued their goals.
I’ve had the opportunity to receive training at nationally recognized firms in both Canada and the U.S. and to work on complex, high-value matters. However, throughout my corporate career, what has stayed with me most is not the value of the transactions, but the people I helped along the way.
I am excited to pivot my practice to family law and return to the area of law that first drew me to the profession. I have always valued being someone clients can turn to during important moments in their lives, and I look forward to bringing that same approach to my family law practice. My years in corporate law have taught me to think strategically about how best to achieve my clients’ goals, find practical solutions to complex problems, and keep sight of what matters most to the people I represent. I look forward to putting that experience to work for clients as they navigate some of the most personal and consequential moments of their lives.
I speak Punjabi and warmly welcome Punjabi-speaking clients.
Outside of law, I enjoy writing, staying active, and spending time with my family, friends, and pets.
