Mr. Ernest Woo was called to the Bar of Ontario in 2016 after earning his LL.B from King’s College London. He joined the firm in September 2016 and practices in the areas of real estate, real estate litigation, and corporate and commercial law.
Mr. Woo advises clients on a wide range of real estate matters, including the acquisition, disposition, financing, and development of multi-residential, office, retail, retirement home, life lease, and agricultural properties and regularly advises landlords and tenants on commercial leasing matters.
In addition to his transactional practice, Mr. Woo represents lenders, property owners, and investors in real estate disputes, including mortgage enforcement, power of sale proceedings, and related commercial litigation.
Mr. Woo also advises entrepreneurs and investors on the purchase and sale of businesses and on corporate structuring matters, including shareholder agreements, joint ventures, and limited partnership arrangements.
Mr. Woo holds a Certificate in Cannabis Law and Regulation from Osgoode Hall Law School at York University.
